1 in 5 girls from Native American reservations in the USA die or disappear before the age of 18.
These statistics are devastating. Those living on Native American reservations say the statistic is even greater- 2 in 5 girls.
In 2020, God led us to start building safe houses in the USA for rescued individuals. It began when a friend shared that three teenage girls were rescued from sex trafficking, and tragically, while the government was looking for housing for them, they all committed suicide.
We use the City of Refuge model to make the safe house self-sustaining. Our Missouri safe house is the most developed. This 6-bedroom safe house is supported by a local coffee shop, storage units, and a retail store. We are building each safe house in partnership with a local church and are setting up each house with support staff and counselors.
