Victor is the youngest child in a very poor family. In their community, there is only one school, which has a single teacher who frequently falls ill, resulting in inconsistent education. Victor’s parents are eager for him to continue his studies. He is enthusiastic about being at the City of Refuge, where he hopes to receive the education necessary to achieve his dream of becoming a doctor.
