Suani is from El Cerrón, Comayagua. She comes from a very poor family that has barely enough to make ends meet. The school in the nearest community is an hour away, and her mother cannot afford to send her there to study. The IMI team found her, and her mother decided that she would have better opportunities with us. Suani is very quiet and shy, but she is starting to make new friends and is looking forward to going to school every morning. She loves playing soccer and aspires to become a nurse or doctor one day.
