For fun, Jonathan likes to swim.
When he grows up, he wants to be an industrial engineer.
Jonathan is a very active and enthusiastic boy. He lives with his single mother, who supports them through various temporary jobs, including harvesting coffee, working in a plant nursery, and doing laundry for others. When she cannot find work, they struggle to afford necessities. Jonathan had been in neonatal care for pneumonia but, thankfully, did not develop major complications.
Jonathan and his siblings live in extreme poverty, which is why his mother sought support from City of Refuge IMI. She hopes that Jonathan will be able to continue his education and improve their circumstances. Jonathan is very excited to be part of IMI and to start 4th grade, with the aspiration of helping his mother in the future.
