Child Sponsorship Through Impact Ministries International

Child Sponsorship Through Impact Ministries International

There are children here who need your help. The cost to save one child is so small, and the need is so great. Please review the children below and consider helping them pay for food, clothing, education and more.  You can download and view their PDF profile, print their information, and even make your donation from this page. Thank you for help, and may God bless you.

PLEASE CAREFULLY  READ THE FOLLOWING:

THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE WHILE WE UPDATE donation forms  We are TRANSITIONING FROM Paypal to Donor Box.  Reasons for this are as follows:

– Donor box is more user friendly and supportive of charity and non- profit campaigns.

– Paypal charges a percentage of every donation while Donorbox charges nothing.

Again we are no longer using Paypal to process donations.  Please do not click on the Paypal link as it will not work.

Thank you for supporting the IMI children.

God bless,

The IMI Webmasters

Teresa was rescued from the streets.  She is fiery young lady with a passion for worship and standing her ground when she believes she is right. This creates challenges for her at times but we are striving to reinforce her obvious strengths and capitalize on her natural leadership potential.

We rescued Nicol and her three younger sisters (Yuvi, Lixi, and Angie) from a horribly abusive home on July 3, 2013. The mother was so abusive that she would starve the girls, beat them, and dunk their heads in a bucket of water when they cried. The girls were left alone for many days at a time and sometimes were left with strange men in the house. When their poor aunt went to social services and the police, she got the same answer, “Sorry, don’t come to us.” Luckily somebody told her about us. Nicol had been like the mother for the younger children, taking care of them all that time. Her teeth were so bad when we found her that it was very painful to eat anything. We took her to the dentist and got them fixed and she is doing much better. She is very sweet and loving and is happy to be at the orphanage and going to school now.  Nicole is extremely conscientious and a member of the up and coming IMI videography team.

Yareth’s mother was abandoned by her husband who left her for another woman. She has 4 children Alexandra 14, Lenis11, Yareth 8, Angel 6 years old. She works on the fields picking up coffee making only $5 per day which is not enough to feed her children and put them to school. She didn´t have a house. Somebody allowed her to stay in a very old house that has two bedrooms, a kitchen and a latrine. They lived in a very unsanitary environment. She went to work every day and her children stayed home by themselves and they went hungry for the most part, therefore they went from house to house asking for food. Genesis came to us January 21, 2017 along with her older brother and younger sister. Their father abandoned them and their mother. Their mother Maria washes clothes to survive and only makes $60 per week, her rent is $50 for a one-room apartment with only one bed, a two-burner stove, small refrigerator, and a small table with three chairs. The apartment is unlivable and the smell is very bad. There are days when there is no work for her and she is unable to feed her children or send them to school. Maria’s mother is very poor and did not have money to send her to school so now she is unable to read or write. Maria suffers from anxiety and depression to the point where she wanted to take her life.  She heard about us and asked us to take her children because she was not capable of taking care of them and wants a better life for them.

Josue Francisco and his brother Carlos Abraham were brought to the orphanage because their mother was killed while trying to illegally enter the U.S. They had been starving before they arrived. We believe they were very close to dying from starvation. Jose and his brother Carlos still eat and chew on everything. The first day they arrived at the orphanage they ate their cookies and then the crumbs off the floor of the other kids’ cookies. They chew on plastic spoons, paper, etc. I keep gently reminding them that they don’t need to do that anymore. It is hard for the kids to adjust after facing such hunger. Please pray for our two new guys, that God will help them with the complications from starvation. Now they have a good life at the orphanage: 3 meals a day and they go to school. Most importantly they are loved and they know Jesus!
